Boston Science Publishing offers a Rapid Publication option for time-sensitive manuscripts that require an accelerated peer-review and publication process. This service is designed to help authors communicate and disseminate their research findings worldwide without unnecessary delays.

Rapid Publication is available across journals published by Boston Science Publishing. Authors may request the service according to their publication requirements, while the manuscript continues to undergo the same rigorous peer-review and quality-assessment standards applied to the regular publication process.

Rapid Review Timeline

Under the Rapid Publication model:

Peer-review comments: Usually provided within 5–10 days.

Rapid Publication fee: US$100 per article, payable after acceptance.

Online publication: Accepted articles may appear online within 72 hours after completion of the final publication process.

Peer-review standards: The same editorial and peer-review criteria apply to both regular and rapid publication.

Rapid vs. Regular Publication

Boston Science Publishing provides both Regular Publication and Rapid Publication options.

The primary difference between the two models is the time required to complete the review process:

The Rapid Publication option does not guarantee acceptance. All manuscripts must meet the journal's editorial requirements and pass the applicable peer-review process.

How to Request Rapid Publication

Authors may request Rapid Publication:

During the initial manuscript submission; or After submission by contacting the editorial office by email.

Rapid Publication will not be initiated automatically. If an author does not request the Rapid Publication service, the manuscript will proceed through the journal's regular review process.

Quality and Peer Review

The Rapid Publication option does not compromise the quality or integrity of the editorial process. Manuscripts submitted for rapid review are evaluated according to the same acceptance criteria and peer-review standards as manuscripts submitted through the regular publication route.

The difference is primarily the priority and timeframe of the review process, not the editorial or scientific standards applied to the manuscript.
