BIOGRAPHY:
Geonildo Rodrigo Disnercompleted Bachelor degree in Biological Sciences with
honors. Master of science and Doctor in Genetics with experience in mutagenesis
and environmental toxicology. Some of the research topics with published papers
are related with emerging contaminantes, green toxicology, and alternative
methods to animal experimentation. Currently postdoctoral fellow at Butantan
Institute investigating immunoregulation, immune response, and toxinology using
the gold-standard model Danio rerio (zebrafish).Trainee member at The American
Association of Immunologists.
Research Interest:
New drugs development, toxins, immunoregulation through miRNAs, epigenetics, molecular toxicology, environmental mutagenesis, and science outreach.
