BIOGRAPHY

I was born in 1950 at Matsumoto city, Nagano, Japan, near the Japan Alps. One of my hobby is mountain climbing. My special interest is autoimmune liver disease and lipid metabolism in the context of chronic liver disease due to viral infection. About 20 years ago, I was studied mouse immunogenetics at Washington University, St. Louis. I am now a clinician. But I have a special interest on molecular biology. Our group sometimes submitted an annual meeting of EASL.
